Daftmill – 2011/2023 Summer Release (70cl, 46%)

A 12-year-old Lowland single malt from Daftmill, a small farm distillery. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 as the Summer Release, at 46% from first-fill bourbon casks. About 6,550 bottles were filled, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The bourbon casks keep the profile clear and led by fruit. The nose shows citrus, pineapple, fresh fruit and malty sweetness. On the palate come vanilla, honey, grain and tropical fruit. The finish is fresh, slightly creamy and pleasantly dry.
