Daftmill is a family-run farm distillery in the Lowlands, owned and operated by the Cuthbert family. This Summer Batch dates from 2011 and matured in 27 first-fill casks that previously held Kentucky bourbon.
The casks were filled in June, July and August 2011, and the whisky was bottled in September 2023. The barley was Publican, grown in the farm's 43-acre field, harvested on 28 and 29 August 2009 and malted in Alloa in the summer of 2010.
