Daftmill – 2012 Summer Release (70cl, 46%)

This is a Daftmill single malt from the 2012 Summer Release, bottled in July 2025 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is in Fife, in the Lowlands. The barley was a variety called Concerto, grown in the South Fields and harvested on the 2nd and 3rd of September 2011. It was dried and stored on the farm, then malted in Alloa during the summer of 2012. The release is made up of twenty-three first-fill barrels that previously held Bourbon. They were filled in July and August 2012 and matured on the upper level of the dunnage warehouse.
