Daftmill – 2013 Summer Release Bottled 2026 (70cl, 46%)

The 2013 Summer Release from Daftmill, a Lowland single malt bottled in 2026 at 46% ABV and sold in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled during the distillery's short summer production season and matured only in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Daftmill is a farm distillery in Fife, run by Francis Cuthbert. It grows its own barley, makes spirit in the quiet periods between farming seasons and fills only a handful of casks each year. The bourbon casks let the spirit show itself, with orchard fruits, lemon zest, caramelised banana and vanilla, alongside delicate floral notes, fresh cereal character and gentle oak spice.
