Daftmill – Inaugural Release 2005

This 12 year old is the first bottling from Daftmill, a farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family. It is a vatting of three casks, numbers 02, 03 and 07, all filled in 2005, the first year of production. Just 629 bottles were filled. The family grows all the barley used on the farm, and the distillery runs only in the quiet periods of mid-summer and mid-winter. This bottling uses Chariot barley harvested in 2014 from the Dam Park and Curling Pond fields, and malted locally in Fife by Robert Kilgour & Co.
