Daftmill – Inaugural Release 2005

This is the first release from Daftmill, a farm distillery in Fife, bottled at 12 years old from spirit made in 2005, the year it was licensed to begin production. It is a vatting of three casks, numbered 02, 03 and 07, all filled in that first year. This is bottle 222 of 629. The Cuthbert family run the distillery and grow all the barley on the farm. The Chariot barley for this bottling was harvested in 2014 from the Dam Park and Curling Pond fields, and malted locally in Fife by Robert Kilgour & Co.
