Daftmill – Summer 2008 Single Cask #68 Whisky Bars of Scotland Artisan (70cl)

This is a single cask Daftmill, filled on 9 December 2008 into a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel and bottled in a run of 160 bottles. The cask was reserved for the Independent Whisky Bars of Scotland group, to be served by the dram in its member bars. Daftmill is a farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family, who grow all of their own barley. The barley for this cask was harvested from the farm's South fields in the last week of August 2006, stored on the farm, then malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007.
