Daftmill – Summer Batch Release 2006 U.K. Edition (70cl)

Daftmill Summer Batch Release 2006 is a single vintage single malt from a farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family, who grow all the barley they use on site. It is the distillery's second release, drawn from nine casks and bottled in 1665 bottles. The chariot barley was harvested on 31st August 2004 from the farm's Dam Park and Curling Pond fields, and malted in Fife by Robert Kilgour & Co. The spirit matured for nearly 12 years in ex-bourbon casks from the Heaven Hill Bernheim distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.
