Daftmill – Summer Batch Release 2006 U.S. Edition

This is a Daftmill Summer Batch Release, a Lowland single malt bottled exclusively for the USA. It was distilled at the Cuthbert family's farm distillery in the summer of 2006. The bottling is drawn from seven first fill bourbon barrels, all filled on 30 September 2006 at the end of that summer season. The spirit was made from clear wort with a slow distillation and very high, narrow cut points, aiming to capture the lightest, most delicate flavours of the farm's malting barley. The release runs to 1,680 bottles.
