Daftmill – Summer Batch Release 2006 U.S. Edition

A Lowland single malt from Daftmill, a farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family, which works only in the farm's quieter periods of mid-summer and winter. This batch was distilled in the summer of 2006 and bottled exclusively for the USA. It combines whisky from seven first fill bourbon barrels, all filled on 30th September 2006, and is one of 1,680 bottles. The distillery uses clear wort, a slow distillation and very high, narrow cut points to collect the lightest, most delicate flavours of its barley.
