Daftmill – Summer Batch Release 2010 UK Edition

Daftmill Summer 2010 is a batch release of Lowland single malt, made as the UK edition. It combines 25 first-fill bourbon barrels, distilled in July 2010 and bottled in 2021. This was the last time Daftmill used the barley variety Optic in distillation. Daftmill is a farm distillery owned and run by the Cuthbert family, which distils only in the farm's quiet periods, at midsummer and in winter. Francis Cuthbert grows the malting barley used for the whisky.
