Daftmill – Winter 2006 Single Cask #77 for Europe

Daftmill Winter 2006 is a single cask Lowland single malt from a first-fill bourbon barrel, number 077/2006, filled on 16 December 2006. It was bottled exclusively for Europe, and this is bottle 180 of 213. Daftmill is a farm distillery owned and run by the Cuthbert family, which distils only in the quiet periods of the farm year, at midsummer and in winter. This spirit was distilled in winter 2006 with a slow distillation and very high, narrow cut points, to collect the lightest, most delicate flavours of the barley malt. The cask is a sister to those in the Winter Batch release.
