Daftmill – Winter Batch Release 2006 UK Edition

This is a winter batch release from Daftmill, a Lowland farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family. The whisky was distilled in the winter of 2006 from clear wort, using a slow distillation and narrow, high cut points. It was vatted from six first fill Bourbon barrels, all filled on 16th December 2006. The barley is grown on the farm itself, and the distillery runs only in the quieter periods of the farming year. This edition was released as 1,625 bottles.
