Daftmill – Winter Batch Release 2007 UK Edition

This is a Lowland single malt from Daftmill, a farm distillery owned and run by the Cuthbert family, which only distils in the farm's quiet periods in mid-summer and winter. It is made up of seven first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, filled in November 2007, and 1,785 bottles were produced. The barley was the Optic variety, grown in the South fields and harvested in the last week of August 2006. It was stored on the farm and malted in Alloa in the summer of 2007.
