Daftmill – Winter Batch Release 2008

This is the Daftmill Winter Batch Release, a single malt distilled in February and April 2008 and issued in winter 2020. It matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks, and the release runs to 6,000 bottles. Daftmill is a farm distillery run by the Cuthbert family, who grow all the barley used on site. It operates only in the quiet farming periods of mid-summer and mid-winter. It was licensed in 2005, and its first release came in 2018.
