Daftmill Winter 2011 is a Lowland single malt from a single farm estate, released in the distillery's Winter Batch Release series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
It was distilled in December 2011 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel before bottling in 2024. A total of 7500 bottles were filled. Daftmill has a capacity of 65,000 litres, which makes it one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland.
The nose is fresh, fruity and floral, with apple, vanilla, banana, pear, mint, citrus, candied fruit and light oak. The palate opens peppery, then turns to apricot, honey, vanilla and marzipan, with mint and fresh-cut grass. The finish is medium, with oak, nuts and malt.
