Dalmore – 12 Year Old, 1990s (70cl, 43%)

This is a Dalmore 12 year old single malt from the 1990s, in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV. It is a Highland malt. The 12 year old was the only expression in the distillery's core range until 2002, when the Cigar Malt and a 21 year old joined it. Whyte & Mackay's blenders bought Dalmore from the Mackenzie family in 1960, after years as customers. Because the malt mattered so much to their blends, its distillery bottlings were limited to a 12 year old for a long time.
