Dalmore 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It has a golden amber colour.
The whisky is first matured in American white oak bourbon casks, then moved into Oloroso sherry casks for a final finish.
The nose is sweet vanilla, caramel and fresh citrus, followed by raisins, cinnamon and a little dark chocolate. The palate is smooth and round, with honey and fruit first, then dried fruit and a light toasted-cask note. The finish is easy and long, with dried fruit and oak.
