This is Dalmore 15 Year Old, a Highland single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in Matusalem, Apostoles and Amoroso sherry casks, which give it a well sherried and complex character.
The nose brings chocolate orange, potpourri and fruitcake with sherry. On the palate there is zesty orange, Blue Curaçao and chocolate, with winter spice, stem ginger in syrup and a little anise and hickory. The finish is malty barley and smoky espresso.
