Dalmore 15 Years is a Highland single malt bottled at 40%. It is matured first in American white oak bourbon casks, then finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose opens with vanilla, caramel and ripe citrus, followed by dark chocolate, raisin and cinnamon from the sherry, with a little toasted wood. The palate is round and full-bodied, led by honey and fig, then sherried dried fruit and a little spice.
The finish is long, with dark chocolate and light oak.
