This is a Dalmore 18 Year Old distillery bottling, filled in a 70cl bottle at 43% ABV and bottled on 23 April 2024.
The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and then in a 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso sherry cask.
The nose is rich in vanilla, raisin, candied walnut and darker fruits. The palate is soft, with dark chocolate, tobacco, orange, toffee and almonds, and a light sweetness on the tongue. The finish is long, with orange, English marmalade, vanilla, toffee and dark chocolate.
