Dalmore – 2003/2022 Vintage (46.9%)

This is Dalmore 2003 Vintage, a single malt from the Dalmore Vintages series, which vats the best casks of one single year. Here those casks date from 2003, and the whisky was bottled in 2022 at 46.9% ABV. Maturation began in ex-bourbon casks of American white oak. The whisky was then moved into a combination of Rivesaltes sweet wine casks, Matusalem and Amoroso sherry casks, and bourbon casks, before the casks were married together. It is described as a rich, sweet whisky, released as a limited edition.
