This is a single cask Dalmore from the Highlands, bottled by Duncan Taylor in its Octave series. It was distilled in 2006, matured for 17 years in an octave cask and bottled in 2023 at a cask strength of 50.8%. Only 78 bottles were filled, in 70cl bottles. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is rich and intense, with ripe citrus fruit, dark chocolate and a touch of spice. The palate is full and complex, with sweet vanilla, toffee and a restrained oak note. The finish is long and warming, with spice and fine fruit.
