It is matured in three types of cask: American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels, aged Tawny Port pipes, and 30 year old Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks.
The Matusalem casks come from the Spanish bodega González Byass, which makes them available exclusively to the whisky makers of The Dalmore.
