Dalmore King Alexander III is a single malt made to honour the saving of Scotland's King in 1263, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It brings together whiskies from six casks: ex-bourbon, Matusalem oloroso sherry, Madeira, Marsala, port pipes and Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. Each cask contributes its own flavour notes.
The nose has red berry fruits, fresh flowers and hints of passion fruit. On the palate come citrus zest, vanilla pod, creme caramel and crushed almonds, and the finish is sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger.
