Dalmore King Alexander III is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highlands, bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in six types of cask: bourbon, sherry, port, Madeira, red wine and white wine, and then blended.
The colour is a deep amber-copper. The nose opens with vanilla, caramel and ripe dark citrus, followed by coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruit and a little red wine. The palate is round and rich, with honey and ripe fig first, then cinnamon, toasted wood and light fruit. The finish is long, with dark chocolate and woody notes.
