A Highland single malt from Dalmore, released for Chinese New Year 2026 and the Year of the Horse. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle and has a deep caramel colour.
King Alexander III is matured in six kinds of cask: American white oak, Matusalem Oloroso sherry, port pipes, Madeira drums, Marsala barrels and Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks.
The nose is full of red berries, with a touch of tropical fruit and a hint of passion fruit. On the palate come citrus, vanilla and caramel, with fresh orange, vanilla pod, butterscotch and chopped almonds. The finish is long, with cinnamon, nuts and ginger.
