Dalmore Port Wood is a single malt first aged in American white oak casks and then finished in Port pipes. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle. The pipes were sourced from the Port producer W&J Graham's.
The nose offers clove-studded orange, rich raspberry and prune, with a touch of sponge cake. The palate starts chocolatey, then dried fruit and stem ginger arrive, with a little earthy bitterness balanced by runny honey. The finish brings roast chestnuts, gingerbread and tobacco.
