Dalmore Port Wood Reserve is a Highland single malt, bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It begins in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak. The spirit is then divided: one half stays in bourbon casks, the other moves into port casks from the Graham's winery. The two are married afterwards.
The nose shows red berries, orange and plum with a little toffee and roasted notes. The palate is full and creamy, with plenty of fruit, caramel, spice, nuts and coffee. The finish is long and fruity, with raisins, cherries and blood orange.
