Dalmore – Quartet (1L, 41.5%)

Dalmore Quartet is a Highland single malt in a one-litre bottle, bottled at 41.5%. The distillery's emblem is a twelve-point royal stag, which appears on every bottle of The Dalmore. It was given to Colin of Kintail, the first chief of Clan Mackenzie, after he saved King Alexander III of Scotland from an attacking stag. The distillery's royal links reach back to 1263. Alexander Matheson founded Dalmore in 1839. In 1867 descendants of Clan Mackenzie took over, and among their first changes was to decorate each bottle with the stag's head.
