Dalmore Valour is a travel retail single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle. It is matured in a mix of two types of first fill ex-bourbon cask and Oloroso sherry butts, then finished in port pipes from the Douro region of Portugal.
The nose is crumbly shortbread with toffee, plump raisins and candied orange peel. The palate is rich and chocolatey, with treacle and malt loaf, yet still shows golden barley and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is long and warm, with orange and cinnamon.
