Dalmore Vintage 2005 is an 18 year old Highland single malt from the Vintage Collection, distilled in 2005 and bottled in 2023 at 49.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured first in American white oak bourbon casks, then finished in Matusalem and Vintage 2005 sherry casks.
Dark chocolate and salted caramel meet old leather and orange on the nose. The palate brings cocoa, blood orange and dark fruit, with marzipan and moist ginger cake. The finish is long and dry, with Madagascan vanilla, Seville orange, nuts and a lingering chocolate note.
