Dartigalongue 30 Year Old Vintage Armagnac 1992 (75cl, 40%)

Dartigalongue 1992 is a single-vintage Bas Armagnac, distilled in 1992 and aged for thirty years. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled once in a traditional Armagnac column still, from Baco 22A, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche. The house matures its spirit in dry attic cellars with large swings in temperature, which it credits for the purity and softness of its eaux-de-vie. The nose offers candied fruit, white blossom, a thread of green mint, apple tart and cinnamon. The palate is silky, with pastry cream, roasted peach and hazelnut, and a touch of sea salt. The finish is long and gentle, with cinnamon and stone fruit.
