Deanston 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle and has no smoke in its character.
The nose is fresh summer hay, malty cereal, creamy toffee and honeyed heather, with sweet oak and barley sugar. The palate is smooth and creamy, with hints of fruit, malty honeyed spice and soft vanilla.
The finish is crisp, with a tingle of cloves that lingers before fading gently.
