Dingle – 13 Year Old Single Malt Madeira Finish (70cl, 51.3%)

This is a 13 year old Dingle single malt finished in Madeira Malvasia casks, bottled at 51.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition release, and each bottle is individually numbered. The casks were hand selected by Paddy Foley, Dingle's Head of Maturation, with attention to fortified wine casks chosen for their character, maturity and individuality. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The nose offers honey, sun-dried fruits, candied citrus, toffee and vanilla. On the palate come sticky dates, dark chocolate and spiced oak with clove and cinnamon. The finish is long, with delicate spice, nutmeg and sugar syrup sweetness fading to orchard fruits and toasted oak.
