Dingle – Lúnasa Single Malt Cask Finish (50.5%)

Lúnasa is a limited-edition Dingle single malt named for the Celtic festival that marks the start of the harvest season. It honours the mother of Lugh, a god of Irish mythology, who is said to have died of exhaustion after preparing Ireland's fields for farming. The whiskey was matured in bourbon casks and finished in Widow Jane Bourbon casks. It is bottled at 50.5%. The nose brings ripe red berries, warm salted caramel, lemon sherbet and creamy butter fudge. On the palate there is barley sugar with a pinch of spice, then dark chocolate with raspberries. The finish is warm with ginger and spice, leaving dark fruit and caramel.
