Discovery Tomatin 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Discovery range, a series that groups whiskies by style and cask type. It was matured predominantly in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is bright, with green apple, pear and citrus peel alongside creamy vanilla, honey, faint coconut and soft oak. On the palate it is smooth and fruity, with juicy peach, melon and hints of tropical fruit layered with vanilla cream and subtle spice. The finish is medium, clean and gently sweet, with citrus, oak and vanilla.
