Distillerie Bows Fiba Eau de Vie de Figuier de Barbarie (50cl)

Fiba is an eau de vie distilled from prickly pear cactus pads by Distillerie Bows in Occitanie. It came out of the distillery's work with local raw materials and the circular economy, and it sits well apart from the traditional eau de vie style. The flavour is fruity, recalling ripe exotic fruit and orchard fruit, with elegant green, herbal notes that bring the Mediterranean to mind. A touch of bitter cocoa and a fine bitterness add depth. The texture is full and silky, and the distillation keeps the freshness of the raw material. It can be served neat, lightly chilled or over ice, and also works in citrus or grapefruit cocktails.
