Divergence is a New Zealand single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. The spirit is made from Canterbury-grown and malted barley, mashed, fermented and double distilled in pot stills in Christchurch.
It spent three and a half years in 50 and 100 litre virgin French oak barrels.
The nose is toffee and milk chocolate with oak and soft floral undertones. The palate shows dark caramel, dark cocoa, new leather, creamy tannin, floral notes and anise, and the finish is slightly drying with oak tannin.
