Doc Holliday 23 Year is a Kentucky straight bourbon released by World Whiskey Society, in a 750ml bottle at 48% ABV. The distillery is not disclosed.
It spent the full 23 years maturing in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose is deep oak with dark chocolate and dried cherry, over worn leather and baking spices. The palate is rich and full-bodied, with dried fruit, dark chocolate, firm tannins and a thread of sweetness. The finish is long and tannic, with espresso-like roast, aged leather and bitter chocolate.
