Doc Swinson's French Toasted is a cask strength straight bourbon in a 75cl bottle, bottled at 55.3% ABV. It is the first release in the Exploratory Double Oak line from the Ferndale, Washington bottler.
The base blends two high-rye MGP straight bourbon mash bills, each matured for at least 5.5 years in American white oak. It was then finished in 600-litre casks from Taransaud Cooperage in Cognac, made from Tronçais oak seasoned for a minimum of 36 months.
The bourbon won Best in Show and a Double Gold at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
