A bright ruby red Dolcetto d'Alba from Piero Benevelli. It offers an immediate, straightforward profile with fresh red fruits, a light floral note, cherry and small berries, delicate aromatic herbs and a slight mineral undertone. The palate is slender with gentle but present tannins, lively acidity and a soft texture, finishing directly with fruit and a light bitterness that cleanses the palate. It suits Piedmontese antipasti, cured meats, pasta with sauce, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses, and can be enjoyed young or kept briefly in the cellar. Serve slightly cool.
