A Barolo DOCG with a classic, measured profile. The nose shows ripe red fruits and faded rose, with earthy notes, light spicy nuances and a hint of undergrowth. The palate has good tension, supported by fine tannins and lively acidity, with a mineral vein lengthening the profile. The finish is persistent, with sweet spice returns and a subtle graphite note. It suits braised meats, mushroom dishes, egg pasta and aged cheeses; serve around 16–18 °C. It can evolve in bottle but already gives satisfaction after some years of opening.
