Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot Montagny Premier Cru 2024 (75cl)

This is a white Burgundy from Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot, made in the Montagny appellation and classed Premier Cru. The 2024 vintage is made from Chardonnay. Jean-Marc Boillot began bottling wines under his own label from a few acres of vineyard, and now runs his domaine from the family house and cellars in Pommard. He is also a grandson of Etienne Sauzet, from whom he inherited vineyards. In the glass it shows a luminous green edge. The nose is fine and distinctly Montagny in style, while the palate pairs white fruit with crunchy, stony tension and enough flesh behind it.
