Dragonjuice 10 Year Old Batch 2 is a peated Islay single malt bottled independently by Whisky Druid at 50.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of whisky from three first-fill casks: a tawny port barrique, an oloroso sherry butt and a bourbon barrel. 1,035 bottles were filled, without chill-filtration or added colour.
Peat smoke and maritime notes meet vanilla, caramel and dried fruit on the nose. The palate adds raisins, dark fruit, malty sweetness and spicy oak, and the finish is medium to long, with smoke, oak, dark chocolate and a light saltiness.
