Drambox Pride of Islay (70cl, 40%)

Drambox Pride of Islay is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, bottled by Drambox at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is not named on the label. It is a peated, coastal malt, with smoke and salt at the centre of its character. The nose combines peat smoke, briny mist and the faint sweetness of seaweed. On the palate it is intense, with bonfire smoke, citrus peel, toasted barley and a bracing saltiness, along with a chewy texture. The finish is long and dry, with smoke that fades in pulses.
