Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Drumshanbo Single Pot Still is an Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43%. It is triple distilled at the Shed Distillery from malted barley, unmalted barley and Barra oats, and has no added colour and no chill filtration. It was aged in Oloroso sherry and Kentucky bourbon casks. Head Distiller Brian Taft distilled it. It is described as the first Irish whiskey from the western province of Connacht in over 105 years. The bourbon casks bring sweet vanilla and caramel, while the Oloroso adds pot spice and honeysuckle in the finish. The oats and unmalted barley give a creamy, silky texture.
