Eagle Rare 10 Years Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery. It is matured for ten years in oak casks and bottled at 45% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is vanilla, caramel and ripe fruit, with toasted oak, honey and light spice. On the palate it is full and soft, with caramel, vanilla and dried fruit, and oak, cocoa and subtle spice adding depth. The finish is long and warming, with vanilla, caramel, oak and gentle spice.
