Eagle Rare 17 Year Old is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from the BTAC range, in a 75cl bottle. It is a deep, burnished gold in the glass.
The nose is fragrant, developing an almost wine-like character with a hint of almonds in the background. The body is big and silky, and the palate is spicier than the nose suggests, with violet notes, a touch of caramel and a hint of old leather. The finish is very long and very leathery.
