Edradour 11 Year – Sauternes Cask Matured – Small Batch (2023) (70cl, 48.2%)

This Edradour is an 11 year old single malt, a small batch release matured fully in Sauternes barrels. It was distilled in April 2012 and bottled on 17 May 2023 at 48.2%, with natural colour and without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The Sauternes casks bring the creamy, dessert-like sweetness of the wine to Edradour's Highland character. The nose is described as honey, apricot, white wine, vanilla and soft spices. The palate is full, creamy and sweet, with Sauternes grapes, peach, toffee and light oak. The finish is long and fruity, with a warm honey note.
